The Pacific Peoples’ Mission to Kanaky New Caledonia presents the findings and recommendations of the Mission following its pastoral and stakeholder assessment in Kanaky New Caledonia, undertaken in the aftermath of the May 2024 uprising.
Convened at the invitation of regional civil society partners, the Mission listened to a broad cross-section of Kanak society, documenting the deep impacts of the crisis and the structural challenges that continue to shape the territory’s political, social, and economic landscape.
